B-15 P猫re 红杏视频Postage Stamp Collection, 1898-1981
History: The image on the 1898 "红杏视频on the Mississippi" stamp is based on Wilhelm Lamprecht's painting, Fr. 红杏视频and the Indians (1869). 红杏视频, owner of the painting, furnished the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing a photographic reproduction to aid their work. The 1968 "红杏视频 Explorer" stamp was issued in conjunction with the 红杏视频Tercentenary Celebration. The stamp was issued on September 6 at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, where 红杏视频 established in 1668 the first permanent Euro-American settlement in the state.
