We are a group of young, enthusiastic, fully qualified primary teachers, with a range of specialist subjects offering a unique lessons experience. During term time, sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from  4.00 – 6.00 pm we offer two separate subjects catering for children aged 4* – 12. Each session (2 hours long) is priced at £18. (or £10 for one hour).

Our sessions are made up of:

  • 55 minute lesson (first subject. E.G Maths)
  • 10 minute break
  • 55 minute lesson (Second subject. E.G: English)

Sessions are targeted to individual needs and incorporate visual, aural and kinesthetic teaching methods. Children’s individual progress is tracked using ongoing formal and informal assessments.

Our sessions currently encompass the following:

Ages 4 – 5 (Please note children must be in last term of Reception at least).

  • Counting skills
  • Fine motor skills
  • Arts and crafts
  • Letter formation
  • Phonics
  • Reading activities

Ages 5 +: 

  • English
  • Maths
  • Homework help (If specifically requested)
Where are we located?
  • *Children must be in the last term of reception at least. We reserve the right to refuse admission and to make exceptions to the age limit.*
  • We are unable to cater for children with severe learning difficulties at this time, any Special Educational Needs should be disclosed when registering your child.

Behaviour

  1. At Jump Ahead we aim to create a safe and welcoming learning environment. Children’s behaviour is central to this aim. Therefore any child displaying challenging behaviour or proving to be a distraction to others will be asked not to return to Jump Ahead. Any fees paid up to this point are none-refundable.

Make-up Sessions

  1. If your child is unable to make a session you must advise us by phone call, text or email on +350 54021144 or jumpaheadgibraltar@gmail.com IN ADVANCE.
  2. Please note that your child will NOT be eligible for a make-up session if we have not been informed of their absence in advance.
  3. In order to book a make-up session you must inform us in advance of which days you would like them to attend so that we can ensure to maintain small group sizes.
  4. Each child can take advantage of a MAXIMUM of 2 make-up sessions per month.
  5. If your child misses 3 sessions in a row without notification they will be removed from our registers and a child from our waiting list will be offered their place. Any fees paid up to this point are none-refundable.

Fee Payments

  1. Payments are to be made monthly in advance and cheques are not accepted.
